The Unified Human Rights Council (UHRC) – Maharashtra State Women’s Wing is a dedicated branch of the national organization focused on promoting and protecting the rights of women across Maharashtra. Our mission is to address the unique challenges faced by women and marginalized communities in the state while upholding their civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights.
The Maharashtra Women’s Wing works tirelessly to advance gender equality, safeguard women’s rights, and ensure their active participation in all areas of life. Our team is composed of passionate human rights advocates, legal experts, and community leaders, all united by a commitment to justice, equality, and dignity for women across Maharashtra.
Key initiatives include:
